It may not be often that a stray dog sticks around the same place for long but in this case, Champ is on a mission.

It is rumored to be that a gentleman went into the hospital and brought his dog with him; later the male passed away in hospital. It seems to be as though the dog is continuing to look for his owner as he makes his way around Russell area and down highway 45.

“I think he first came to town in August or September and we have been trying to capture him since November” Starla Thom stated one of the many trying to help Champ.
