It's hard to believe that I'm actually the editor of my hometown paper - who would have thought..... Yes, Russell is my hometown - and what a great hometown it is, full of interesting, innovative - and above all energetic and commited people.

Which makes this a very interesting place to work - I often say that I have the most exciting job in our small but very vibrant town. The best thing about the town is its people and the hundreds of them that I have had the pleasure to get to know in the fourteen years since I returned here from Ontario and ended up returning to work again for Inky and Carol, the former owners of The Banner.
